History

Indian Phosphate Limited (IPhL) was incorporated as a public limited company in 1998 under the Companies Act, 1956 (vide Corporate Identification Number U24142RJ1998PLC015271).

The first SSP Powder Plant of IPhL was commissioned way back in 2004 with an installed capacity of 200 MT/day. In 2010, the SSP Powder Plant capacity was enhanced from 200 MT/day to 400 MT/day and also commissioned 200 MT/day of SSP Granulation Plant. In 2011, the SSP Granulation plant capacity was further expanded from 200 MT/day to 400 MT/day. IPhL is now one of the leading SSP manufacturers in Rajasthan with its’ “Ankur SSP” brand is well established throughout in Northern & Western states of India.

IPhL group had diversified into chemical business in 2009, by setting up Liner Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid (LABSA - 90%) plant with an installed capacity of 150 MT/day. It was expanded further in 2022, by commissioning 200 MT/day plant to enhance the combined installed capacity to 350 MT/day.

IPhL also have an interest into mining of rock phosphate & beneficiation. The company got allotment of Rock Phosphate Mine in auction by M.P. Govt in 2022. At present, the mine development and other statutory clearances process is in progress.

IPhL has also installed 750 kWH Solar power plant in 2022, for captive consumption and thereby contributing towards reduction in carbon footprint. The company is further committed to achieve Net Zero Carbon Footprint in coming years.

IPhL is also in process to expand its manufacturing geographical presence in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. In 2023, the SSP plant construction has started in Dhule, Maharashtra, while in 2023 the land has also been acquired in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu for setting up chemical plant complex.

IPhL group entity, M/s. Adheeshaa Carriers is one of the largest logistics service providers to transport corrosive liquid chemicals as well as bulk cargo on PAN India basis, with a current fleet of over 100 vehicles as well as attached fleet in excess of 200 vehicles.

IPhL group entity, M/s. Step by Step School, has also been running schools, over 2 decades now, from pre-school level to XII Board, affiliated with CBSE.

IPhL group entity, M/s. Elysian Hotels Private Limited has ventured in the year 2021 into Hospitality business through setting up high end five-star hotel project in Rajasthan to capitalize the vast potential of ever-increasing tourism demand.

IPhL group entity, M/s. S.K. Chemicals has been into trading business for almost 2 decades, managing supply chain for list of chemicals as well as minerals, also import & storage management @ west coast India.
